Mine as well. Followed by Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga

Megaman 2 deserves an honorable mention as my favorite if we were talking non-nintendo games.

Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask and Mother 3

Nihongo ga wakarimasen. 🙁

That would be the same as my favorite game of all time: Super Mario Bros 3.

I still haven’t had a chance to play all of my Virtual Boy games yet, so my favorite game of all time could very well change, but just looking at all Nintendo systems apart from the Virtual Boy, I’d have to say that my favorite Nintendo game, which is also my favorite game of all time, is:

Super Mario 64

I have literally gotten all 120 stars in that game on over 30 different occasions. It’s a little pathetic, but true.

I suppose I never answered the OP’s question.

As far as Nintendo developed titles, the original Super Mario Bros was a very good title and both Super Mario 3 & Super Mario World are amazing. As for Favorite Nintendo developed *franchise* I’d have to go with the Metroid series (Seriously, where do y’all think Capcom’s Rockman/MegaMan idea came from?). For innovation, I’d place my chips on StarFox (FX chip on SNES, Rumble Pack on N64). The original Legend of Zelda made RPGs fun for non-RPG fans, but I’d still consider that release as a top-view action game at heart. The first fun true RPG was Mother 1/Earthbound Zero IMO. The old Dragon Quest games were HORRIBLE, no clue why the series survived and became famous (The first Dragon Quest games were like Zelda II… minus the little fun Z-II offered in dungeon action areas).

Fav N franchise, tough one, I’m partially with VJ here, Metroid, most of the way, thats 2D Metroid, not the 3D. I have played some of the 3D metroids but just not as much fun as the original, IMO, I did like Metroid pinball too.
Mario always delivers, 2D or 3D, and mucho fun had from all.
Zelda, again delivers the goods in fun doses, 2D or 3D.
But I think the franchise that has done it everytime is Mario Kart, total fun single player, epic multiplayer mayhem……….so for me its Mario Kart.

でも英語のパッチがあるよ。

(But there’s an English patch, you know.)

Mine is definitely Zelda: Link’s Awakening. Master piece of a game and still play it every now and then.

Has anyone ever played Legacy of the Wizard? Now that was an original concept for it’s time.

On Youtube Iv’e actually seen a demo for Links Awakening for the VB is it a hoax or is someone working on it?

Yep, just a joke. Someone changed the palette on a gameboy emulator and voilà.

My favorite is Mario Kart 64. Tetris for the Game Boy comes in second.
