Personally mine is S.O.S (Septentrion if you live in a PAL/J region!) They made a PS1 sequel (Septentrion: Out Of The Blue) but it sucked, this game will always be my favorite. It has a nice and fitting soundtrack, I have played it since I was 6 or 7 at my grandparents always getting mad that i sunk with the ship, but I can beat the world record speed run (though its random depending on how the ship rotates and turns) All in all, if you own a SNES and can find it cheaper than $25(unlikely for a complete one) go for it!

Everytime I set up an SNES emulator on a newly hacked system (or chinese handheld) I always play through Act Raiser and Zelda A Link To The Past. There are many other SNES games I really enjoy but those two I’ve beat more than a dozen times over the years.

I really really want a link to the past for my collection, as nothing beats the system, but I may have to use an EMU because it’s a pricey game…

Personally, my favorite games are Super Mario Worlds 1 & 2 and Donkey Kong Country. Why? Because I can beat them. This was in the days before games were impossible to beat. Then Super Mario 64 came along and now I can’t beat anything.

My favorite is Donkey Kong Country! Because it was my first ever TV-console game and the graphics were addictive somehow :).

I always had a thing for Super Mario RPG. That game is just so awesome.

It’s really hard to choose because there are so many greats, but I’m going to go with Lost Vikings II, followed closely by Lost Vikings. Puzzle-platforming at its finest!

I’d never even heard of S.O.S., but I think I’ll have to try it one of these days.

The game for the Super Nintendo that was the most addictive for me was Street Fighter 2 Turbo. I probably played that game at least every weekend from 5th grade into high school. I easily put over 1000 hours into that game. I liked that you could get in a full game during any 15-minute interval you had available, so you didn’t feel like you had to have a large block of free time to start playing the game at all. Mastering all of the characters and trying to beat the game on the hardest difficulty setting with all of them offered a nice challenge and great replay value.

I sort of disagree w RunnerPack although the game might of been terrific I did not give it much of a chance because I had surround sound and the game was in mono. That automatically was a turn off to me. But at the same time that says nothing about how great of a game it might of been.

I however really enjoyed “Rock and Roll Racing” it was the ultimate RC Pro Am style racer. And if you happened to get tired of the music you could play your own. I can remember a few holy days when my family would turn on religious music to it and play “Holy Roller Racing” It was a blast.
