It’s heavy and solid. The guy in Japan just wrapped it in some brown craft paper, and dropped it in the mail. Survived just fine.

Very nice! Thanks for sharing the photos!

I find this auction to be noteworthy because one almost never finds for sale an original shipping box, into which Virtual Boy systems were originally packed.

It’s a shame that the second, third and fifth box of the Virtual Boy’s is a bit damaged/scratched on the top.

Especially since it looks like the person who opened the shipping box was the one who cut and damaged the system boxes inside when he was cutting open the main shipping box.

I would be interested if the serial numbers are matched like this 007,008,009,010,011 or every number is complete mixed/different

Recently, an original Virtual Bowling cart with its original instruction booklet sold on Yahoo! Auctions Japan for 30,655 Japanese Yen = 224.42 Euros = 158.70 British Pounds = 325.41 Australian Dollars = 249.67 US Dollars.

Considering that a copy of Virtual Bowling with its instructions and original box still consistently sells online for the equivalent of 1,200.00 US Dollars on average, I must say that the lucky winner of this auction got a very good deal!

Oh yeah, I should have posted the pics =P

I managed to snag a very good condition copy of Insmouse for $85 US shipped.

If you’re interested it’s a good time to buy this game on ebay 😉

Hi,

someone sold Bound High

http://www.ebay.com/itm/141718283161

Lmao, I love how the eBay dude just ripped the picture off Uncle Tusks site.

I’m not sure what to make of this one

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Space-Invaders-Virtual-Collection-Watch-Nintendo-Virtual-Boy-Japan-NEW-/331609734163?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4d357afc13

It’s cool that the game is of brand new quality, and the watch looks like the VB space invaders, but the watch says 2004 on the back, so it can’t be to do with the game. Coincidence I guess? Either way, too much money.

Based on this article:

http://whiterabbitexpress.com/space-invaders-led-watch-by-taito-and-hulahoop-design-factory/

It looks like Taito wanted the watch to represent the original 1978 arcade game. Nevertheless, the red and black sure do make it look representative of the Virtual Boy version, which is pretty cool.

The article also shows that the watch cost less than 200 US Dollars when it came out in 2004, so yeah, I don’t think it has reached the value of the seller’s asking price yet. It would probably be a better idea to search Yahoo Auctions Japan for スペースインベーダー時計, if one wants to find the watch at a more reasonable price.

oops already posted

Found the Insmouse no Yakata case in store.

Saves you a couple hundred.

some magnets popped up using the box art. it looks like the box art that has been posted here.

I hate these skanky magnets, they completely spam up all the listings and I generally have to search
“______ -magnet -shirt -mug” and things like that to get around them, there are magnets for everything…

Videoboy – Kind of rare as I haven’t seen one at auction before. Price is crazy high though.
