発売中の”ぱにっくボンバー”が、
バーチャルボーイに移植されて登
場する。画面上部から次々に落ち
てくる”つぶキャラ”を、同じ種
類で縦・横・斜めに3個以上なら
べて消していこう。つぶキャラを
消すと現れる火なし爆弾を、とき
どき振ってくる火つき爆弾で一気
に爆破すれば、敵のフィールドに
大量のコゲボンを送りこめるぞ。
“Panic Bomber,” which has already sold well for the Super Famicom, etc., has been ported to the Virtual Boy. You eliminate three or more of the same type of block characters, which fall down one after another from the top of the screen, by lining them up vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. If you blow up unlit bombs, which appear when you eliminate block characters, with a lit bomb that drops in occasionally, a number of scorched bombs will be sent to the opponent’s playing field.

る”のいのい島”で、ボスを倒し
てメダルを集めていき、3つのメ
ダルを集めたらラストボスと対戦。
The story is that you must defeat the new enemy “Midnight Bombers” to obtain “The Golden Statue of Bomberman.” In the stages of the island of Ever-Mist, keep defeating the bosses to collect the medals. Once you’ve collected the three medals, you play against the last boss.

Also, it’s nice that ingenuity unique to the Virtual Boy can be seen everywhere! To make things on the screen easier to see, you can also select and play with whichever you like from five sets of block characters.

おなじみのBPSが、バーチャル
ボーイに「Vテトリス」で参入す
るぞ。従来の「テトリス」シリー
ズに見られるモードのほかに、3
D画面ならではの新モードがくわ
わって、テトリスの無限の可能性
を実感させてくれる。
The familiar BPS, with its “Super Tetris” series, enters the Virtual Boy market with “V Tetris.” Besides the modes seen in the traditional “Tetris” series, a new mode unique to the 3D screen has been added, which makes us realize the endless possibilities of Tetris!

を消すことによってレベルの上が

消しがねらえるCモードを搭載。
As also in the “Super Tetris” series, there is the usual A Mode, where you can enjoy endless Tetris, and B Mode, where you go up a level by eliminating a certain number of lines. And now, developed for “V Tetris” is the C Mode, where you can try to eliminate more than 10 lines at the same time by shifting the front and back fields, which are connected like a loop, left and right with the L and R buttons.

Vテトならではの22ライン
V-Tetris’s Unique 22 Lines
「Vテトリス」いちばんのウリは、
やはりCモードだ。手前と奥のフ
ィールドが輪のようにつながって
いるため、ボタンによってこの2
つのフィールドを入れかえること
ができる。左右のはしから移動し
たブロックは、奥のフィールドに
表示されるわけだが、この特性を
利用することで、なんと最大22ラ
イン同時消しという超大ワザを繰
り出すことができるのだ!!
The best part of “V-Tetris” is, of course, the new C Mode. Since the fields in the front and back are connected like a loop, you can shift these two fields with a button. Blocks moved past the left and right edges are displayed in the field at the back. By using this feature, it is possible to accomplish extra-large feats, such as eliminating up to 22 lines all at once!
