Hi everyone,
I’d like to share with you the completion of a project I started a few years ago, which is now fully functional.
MrCART is a flash cart that doesn’t need to be removed to change games—just power the system off and on again, and you’ll see a list of games displayed on the Virtual Boy screen.
From a technical standpoint, it’s fairly simple. It features a 32Mbit Flash memory, which allows for games like Hyper Fighting, and an SRAM chip for save data storage. MrCART can load roms from 256KB to 4MB.
As with other flash carts, you’ll need an original game to harvest the connector—and in my case, also the main shell and the connector cover.
You can see more information in http://www.mrcart.info
I’d like to thank Planet Virtual Boy, libgccvb (KR155E), and everyone who has shared information about the Virtual Boy online—thanks to all of you, I was able to learn and bring this project to life.
Special thanks to albertoven for creating the menu for the console, and to my family and friends for putting up with me during this whole process.
UNBOXING:
HAND-ASSEMBLED:
That is amazing!
Can you share any price and ordering details? I have not found anything on your (pretty damn good looking) website.
Wow, this is a new highlight in the line of the Virtual Boy accessories!
Congratulations on this great card, great work!
This is very comfortable if you can change the games in the Virtual Boy Menu.
I hope your ideas and efforts are rewarded and you sell many of the cards.

Nice work!
I remember your posts from years ago. Heavy congrats on coming back and finishing it up.
Impressive. Let us know how we can buy one.
Perfect! Just what I’m looking for. Still rockin’ the Flash Boy Plus here haha.
Fantastic work! I am also interested in one whenever they are made available to order
Wow, that’s really cool to see! I would definitely be interested in one.
Hello everyone.
I want to thank you for your comments, they’re very encouraging.
I also want to apologize. This morning (Spanish time), I activated 10 units on eBay, but they sold out before I posted the link here.
I’ll build a few more, and this time I’ll let you know here first.
Thanks a lot.
Dang immediately sold on eBay… that’s nuts but also understandable.
Honestly the price is pretty solid,
How many more are you considering making?

Yes, and a bit unfortunate.
Can you at least give us a hint regarding price? 150€, 250€, more, less? Just to get a feeling if I need to look for an ebay link every minute here. Thank you.
Here’s to hoping they are stocked well enough for this large community to own one. I’m very interested in owning one.
