Super Robot Daikūsen – An unreleased vertical-scrolling shooter for the VB

It seems that the announcement of the Virtual Boy being brought to the Nintendo Switch family sparked conversation about an unreleased and previously undocumented title. According to Super Robot Wars producer and supervisor Takanobu Terada stated on Twitter that the game, called Super Robot Daikūsen, was mech-themed, and was going to feature a similar gameplay loop like Vertical Force it seems with mechs from Getter Robo and Combat V.
