Cleaning Virtual Boy Cartridge Slot

Hey everyone! I’m relatively new to the Virtual Boy (and this site in general so please forgive me if I made any mistakes) and I just wanted to ask everyone on what the best method for cleaning the VB’s cartridge slot is as it sometimes feels like the games get a little stuck in mine when trying to remove them afterwards. I should mention that my Virtual Boy that I got has Virtual Ribbon installed (have no idea what that is btw) so I don’t know if the cleaning method were to be affected by that at all.
