New forum, guestbook and more

A lot happened to the site in the past few days and after several worked-through nights I can present you some cool new features today 🙂

FORUM

Our ugly old forum was finally replaced with the new one a lot of people requested. The new Planet Virtual Boy Forum, which is installed on our own server contrary to the old EZBoard, also allows you to post without registering, but also gives you the chance to make an account and secure your nick that way. Besides the Main VB Forum we also have a Dev Forum, a Sell/Buy/Trade Board and an Offtopic Board up. Hope you all like it and post stuff 🙂

GUESTBOOK

I also installed a stylish replacement for the not-so-pretty old guestbook. It contains all posts from our older guestbooks since the very beginning of this site. I do still have problems with restoring the dates of those posts, but I hope to have that fixed soon. New entries work without problems, so if you have not signed it yet, it’s about time 😉

FRONTPAGE

At last what probably caught your attention first. As you see, there’s a bar on the right side of the frontpage now, containing some useful links. This sidebar is only in experimental state at the moment, but we’ll soon have some nice gimmicks, polls and some more surprises on it, which are only ideas right now, though 😉
