I just found out that I share a birthdate with Gunpei Yokoi.

He was September 10th, 1941.

I’m September 10th, 1986.

Creepy… 😯

the chance is not that slim, theoretically, according to the birthday paradoxon, a lot of our users should share the same birthday. congrats anyway. 😉

Actually, that is pretty rare. The Birthday Paradox talks about multiple people comparing their birthdays with multiple other people. This is comparing one person’s birthday with that of Gunpei’s… and even comparing all of the forum members’ birthdays with Gunpei’s, the odds are pretty low (well… not sure how many members are here, so counting the regulars at least 😛 ). It’s hard to say the exact odds since some birthdays are more common than others (aka 9 months after winter 😉 ).

I was talking to someone and found out I had the same exact birthday as her. By exact I mean the exact month, day, and year! How cool was that? I made her show me her drivers license to be sure lol.
