Not much to write really
I assume the video is just made for fun meaning that no one is working on a pokemon homebrew game but who knows

I would love to see a 3D pokemon game where the opponents pokemon attacks comes right at you (like the ball in the intro of Mario tennis) and you play as the pokemon and not the trainer when fighting other pokemon

Hmm, neat idea, but I have a feeling there wasn’t any work being done on a Pokemon game for VB in ’98, haha. The sound sounds good, so it might be a demo or a homebrew project like you say… Who knows!

Having an RPG on the Virtual Boy would be sweet or maybe a Mega Man game like an improved version of Rockman & Forte: Challenger from the Future.

I remember a user on Starmen.net made a re-skin for Earthbound to make it look like it was on the virtual boy. I’d personally find it quite exciting to see my favorite RPG re-made for the ol’ Black and Red.

I doubt there will ever be a VB Pokémon game, simply because of copyright and trademark issues and because it’s more fun to work on original ideas rather than someone else’s intellectual property. Same goes for Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc.

The video is fake considering game freak (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_Freak) never developed anything for the VB
