I’ve had a few people ask…what I do with all the baseballs/manuals and cases I open up. The answer is throw them away.

They response question is…can I have them ?

Hrms. Reproductions are pretty expensive to make. If someone would like to make an offer for a 48 case of baseballs ?..just the boxes/manuals/6 pack cases and a big 48 case. The 48 case is a bit on the worn side.

I can provide pics if needed πŸ™‚

Do you have extra game PCBs lying around? I assume those aren’t needed once you use the cart shell?? Maybe I should think of a way to repurpose them…

Didn’t we discuss this a while back? I’m pretty sure you said I could just have them and pay for shipping. PM me or just message me next time we’re both on and I’m sure we can work something out.

Actually there is a decent replacement for the connector, so it’s a possibility for sure.

i don’t recall reading something that offered an affordable replacement. if one does exist then these games could be made into additional collectibles to help raise money for the reproductions. they could be placed into a custom 3d printed shell and dropped back into the box.

I’m not sure of the connector replacement either πŸ™‚

LOL!

Hey, maybe one of the anniversary events could be coming up with interesting uses for baseball boxes! I’m thinking stuff like origami/paper-craft and other arts-and-crafts type stuff.

Quick! Everybody scour Instructables, Etsy and Lifehacker! πŸ˜‰

Another happy customer…let’s see what he says:

Sir, are you happy with your purchase ?

“no clue what i would do with them”

And here is the conversation with my wife about them:

Wife:
“Now you’re buying just boxes?”

Me:
“The guy I bought them from said it would make great wallpaper.”

Wife:
“Uhhhhh NO! And who in the hell uses wallpaper anymore?”

Sounds like a fun conversation. πŸ™‚

You could use them for all sorts of things! Glue a 12″x18″ or so rectangle of em together, laminate them and you have your very own VB Baseball Placemat!

Cut the top off, reglue joints so overall box is slightly smaller in dimensions, cut an angle out of the top, bam, custom NES cartridge dust cover.

So, i’m assuming your buying one ? πŸ™‚

They would make some pretty darn snazzy NES cartridge covers =D

I wish I was this creative…
