I noticed on this page in Nintendo Power (Volume 75) that it says Mario Cruise is a future game. Was this later Wario Land or was it completely scrapped all-together?

I’m sure it’s referencing Wario Cruise which was later renamed Wario Land. I’m sure they merely had an accidental mix up of the title a bit.

Yeah that’s Wario Land’s code name, probably just a spelling mistake for Nintendo Power.
