I am offering a free complete JPN copy of Jack Bros. I have donated a lot to PVB, and also tried to help out folks here when I can.

You need to meet 2 requirements:
1. Gain the “10+ ratings” batch by rating at least 10 commercial or homebrew games or demos.

2. As well, I would like you to make a new contribution to this site. Could be a review, could be a new top high-score, could be a new scan the site doesn’t have, could be a monetary donation, …or could just be a notable VB related picture of, say, your cat playing VB. Your contribution is your choice 🙂

I will pick the judges.
The contest will last until we reach at least 10 participants. All members new and old will be welcome.

The prize includes 1 complete boxed copy of Jack Bros, with free USPS Priority shipping and delivery confirmation within the USA. “Snail-mail” First class postage will be offered for international members.

A runner up prize will be a loose copy of Nester’s Funky Bowling.

I’ve rated more than 10 games (though the badge doesn’t yet show up on my profile…) and I’ve just submitted a Virtual Boy relevant scan from a Japanese book about Gunpei Yokoi. I haven’t seen it on the site, so I assume it’s a contribution?

I don’t read/speak Japanese either…but I’m trying to get someone to help with translation…

Hello! I actually just bought a Virtual Boy two weeks ago in anticipation of the 3DS’s release. After finding this website and it’s devoted following, I decided to join to get the most out of my Virtual Boy, and lo and behold I find this contest. Everything I’ve read about Jack Bros. has been nothing short of everlasting praise, so it’s a shame my budget is as tight as it is. I would love to own a copy though.

I have a video game review blog called Cartridge Gamer that I started up last year. For the contest, I decided to contribute to the site by writing up a system review of the Virtual Boy for those who haven’t played one. Though it’s on my own blog, do I have to add it to the site in some way, and if so how do I do that?

Thank you! Yeah, it’s such a shame how Nintendo alienated him from the company even though it wasn’t his fault. And, of course, the car accident. The worst things happen to the best.

I just submitted a review of Virtual Boy Wario Land and I have my 10 games rated!

Does that qualify me for entry into the contest? Or do I need to wait and see if my review gets posted?
