Hi PlanetVB Community!

I was hoping someone here can provide some guidance. I recently recovered my Virtual Boy from storage and set it up. I was disappointed to see no audio or video was being generated, but I did notice whirring coming from the body of the console, confirming that power was being delivered and the machine was on. I then noticed that pulling the cartridge down while fastened in the slot managed to temporarily make both audio and video appear properly.

I suspect something is preventing a clean connection between the dock and the pins. Are there any steps that can be taken to repair this?

Thanks!

Try carefully inserting and removing the game a few times in a row (straight in and out; no pulling down). It sounds like the problem might be slightly oxidized pins on the cart, the system, or both. If so, this should scrape enough off for it to make better contact. You might have to repeat with your other games. Let us know how it goes.
