Can’t remember the last time I actually logged in here. What’s new? Looks like there are some updates on prototypes which are pretty cool. More scans of old Nintendo paperwork and press materials, always surprising when those turn up. What would you say are the top 5 developments from the last year or so I might have missed?

I’ve been busy working on other projects and getting back into long gaming sessions which has left less time for bouncing around the forums to see what’s new in VB land.

You may have seen, but Guy Perfect started making a Virtual Boy Emulator for 3DS, and has been updating semi-regularly; and yeah the prototype stuff is pretty cool too. That’s as much I can think of off the top of my head, at this late a time.

I believe mellott124 is currently in the planning stages for an EverDrive-alike for the VB.

There’s been a lot going on lately, mainly the link cable progress and release, the Mario Tennis 2 player mode has been hacked back in, Maiden is a new game in development, there’s some other games in the pipeline that support the link cable, and an official Bound High proto has surfaced and we’re awaiting to see what that holds.

I know there’s more, but I haven’t had my morning coffee yet…

That’s pretty cool! I cringe whenever I have to open one of my rare or repro boxed games.

Also cool about Mario’s Tennis 2 player mode, last time I checked that was deemed impossible. I’ll have to get busy building a link cable again 👍

Same.. it has been atleast a year since I played or been on the site. Not sure the reason, but the other day I had the urge to get out my VB and flash bound high on my flashboy. Since then I have found some English translations I am excited to play.

I was hoping to come back to more news about Snatcher! But 2 player Mario Tennis and an official emulator and Bound High proto is amazing news!
