It’s really been driving me nuts, this eBay seller “Yamatoku” keeps selling AC Adapter taps while showing a pic of a demo tap. *** talk talk talk *** Power seller or not, this person is a scumbag trying to inflate prices for ordinary regular taps and he knows it.

Look out for yourself.

I ordered one from him and it just arrived in the mail. It *IS* the demo version, with the pixellated/mosaic picture. :O

You want Space Invaders? I doubt this is going to stay at 1 cent now that I’ve posted it here:

Just threw a decent sized bid at it. 😉

It will be interesting to see what it goes for in the end. I had my eye on it previous to posting, but it was the Virtual Fishing cart I wanted ironically. I think VB SI is pretty poor even in what it sets out to do.

I know it’s valuable etc because of rarity, but all I see is a piece of shovelware unfortunately. Let’s be honest, that’s ultimately what’s made this and Virtual Lab rare I suppose in the end.

What’s it worth in loose cart form, ignoring the others?

Magazine is scanned, but only the VB relevant pages: http://www.planetvb.com/modules/articles/?s011138001 🙂

here a nice Gamefan NOVEMBER 1994 magazine whit a vb coverage and allot off info about VB inside
Biddings standing already on 36 $

Edit: $119.98!

Looks like it got relisted without a Buy It Now price, but yikes, the back of that box is pretty torn up…

Just scored an auction for a VB with a strange sticker on it for $71. I won this auction for a great price when taking the 2 Nintendo Power 3D glasses into consideration. I can’t make out what the sticker says in that low-res pic, but it looks looks official to me. The sticker sure does appear to have a lot of text on it, most likely 3D safety precautions.

The console has grey knobs and a matte finish, so it’s definitely not pre-production. Maybe a non-Blockbuster rental unit since the Blockbuster rentals had all that info on the inside of their hardcase, and the non-blockbuster travelmaster rental case has no info inside?

This is all pure speculation on my part. If you’ve seen this sticker before, please fill me in on the history. 🙂

Can you post a close up shot of the sticker so that the text is readable? I can get that translated if necessary as well.

Looks interesting!

Could be wrong but I don’t think he’s got it yet, I think the low res pics are from the seller, once this is in VJ’s hands I’m sure he’ll post pics etc.

Sorry – that seems a bit obvious yet I missed it – if you do want a translation, do that and pass back and I’ll have it translated.

I’ve noticed quite a bit of sellers living in the United Kingdom who, for whatever reason, refuse to ship products outside of their country, even specifically to the United States:

Can someone explain, specifically, why a person living in the U.K. might refuse to ship a product to the United States of America? What problems may arise with such a transaction, which one seeks to avoid? I assume it has to be something more than just the box being damaged in shipping. That could happen even if one ships something across town.

Lots of international PayPal buyer fraud. Generally speaking, even with tracking, the tracking usually isn’t detailed enough for a seller to win a non-receipt claim filed against them. A lot of times international tracking just flat out stops at customs. In other words, some people win things, pay for them, receive the item, then claim it never arrived and paypal refunds their money.
While not a common occurrence, it definitely does happen *often enough* that sellers are simply weary. A few bad apples can ruin it for everyone I guess.

On a lighter note, check out a BIN I scored yesterday:
