If this is to be believed… I also had to check the date.

Vintex64 are now saying they are in the production pipeline for Dragon Hopper, it does sound promising.

Could this really be true?

I don’t remember seeing anything on the forum here about it, and I don’t want to get my hopes up unnecessarily, but I thought it was worth discussing.

I find it hard to believe a finished or even partially playable build would have been located and not in the hands of one of our collectors here.

Dec. has passed and, no news.. guess this will never happen. Sadly..

Yeah I’ve also given up on this one. Sounds like someone spun them a tale and they’ve taken the bait without seeing anything at all. Maybe one day that will change but I don’t believe anything will come of this one now.

Don’t give up hope yet, I emailed them yesterday and they responded today. Still on track to release but may get pushed to February due to a backlog of orders but an initial batch of PCB’s was produced (see attached). Maybe this is all a huge troll but I’m holding out hope.

I really do want to believe but this has been a long time coming and a lot of moving goal posts. Hopefully soon, but let’s see what has or hasn’t happened by end of February

I also received a email from them today saying hopefully this month but February seems to be more likely.
They sent three photos of the PCB’s same photos as the previous post. They also said I would be notified for wave1.

I am also not really optimistic anymore.
The “backlog of orders” is the excuse for several months now.
I am not sure if so many people order from Vintex.

Well, I didn’t count on seeing those labelled PCBs. Can’t see any ROMs on there though so they could just be a stock of ‘blank’ boards right now that are not flashed because the ROM is not forthcoming, right? This is how it feels to me anyway.

I’m interested to see what will be on those PCBs. I highly doubt it’ll be the actual prototypes personally but who knows. At the very least it’ll bring a bit of excitement to the community lol

Perhaps the contact person, if he really has the ROM on hand, will release it to Vintex in August 2026. Would be a 30 years anniversary present.

I have a few of these PCB’s from them…but a game other than Dragon Hopper on them.

Yes, they desgined the PCBs last year in preparation of the release and populated them with other games in the meantime.
