Yes that was the deal. His 2600 had a non-funtioning controller 1 port. The pins were busted so I replaced it…nothing but 10 minutes worth of soldering! The stand is broken on my VB but that’s nothing a welder can’t fix.

Congrats! You can still enjoy it in a dark room at night until you can find an extra eyeshade.
