Virtual Fishing By ThrownAway

Virtual Fishing is pretty middling as a play experience. There’s a surprising amount of Japanese text in this one, so playing on a flashcart with an English patch is more necessary than you’d think. It’s also fairly difficult, and the specific timing required for reeling in the tougher fish makes it harder to win the tournament mode than you’d expect.

Still, it’s pretty relaxing, and while the gameplay is repetitive, it’s far from the worst game on the platform. It’s just not very fun. It’s probably not worth buying unless you really want to collect every single game for the Virtual Boy.
