I edited the main post, but wanted to post it again here in the comments. A score of 200,000+ unlocks the Special and Extra difficulty modes on 3-D Tetris Clear It! ‘Hard’ mode! The Special Command code is different and uses the B button this time.

abarth, that’s correct. The additional high score modes are only available to players who have attained the 200k+ points in the regular Hard mode of 3-D Tetris Type A.

Maybe I should upload my save so people who can’t unlock it can still see those extra modes.

I’d love to see this answered by someone who knows what they’re talking about. I’ve had this issue on several consoles, all of which have their ribbons soldered.
