Original Post

Hi, I hope it is okay that I am posting an ebay auction here. If not, then I apologize and ask for deletion.
To finish my PhD, I need a little money. Therefore I decided to sell my Waterworld CIB in MINT condition.

My good friend Tony (a.k.a. Meek Wizard Machining or “the guy who makes the aluminum medallions”) supports me with an awesome aluminum shell! Therefore Waterworld for the Virtual Boy is now for sale as an aluminium cartridge. It has turned out so well that I would prefer to keep it to myself. πŸ˜€
I am extremely grateful for Tony’s support and I am curious how the auction will end.

Good luck in the auction! I’ll be keeping an eye on it for sure πŸ™‚

Tony Lindberg / Meek Wizard Machining / Fruktodlaren definitely does some fantastic work machining items like this aluminum case in the best way possible. This cart case and cover is no exception. Good luck with the listing and good fortune with the PhD

Very cool. I have a aluminum shell from Tony as well. They’re super cool.

That cart looks beautiful. Good luck!

nice bit of milling, has it been anodised?
Anodising would help prevent any shorting out etc if the pcb happened to come into contact with the metal.

I thank you all for keeping your fingers crossed and bidding! πŸ™‚

@Hedgetrimmer
No, it was not anodized – then the shell would look a little different. I can promise that the PCB will not come in contact with the aluminum, but only with the connector made of black plastic. Nintendo and Tony did a good job on that πŸ˜‰
