Original Post

After all these years, I finally found a replacement to my original VB which I sold years ago. I’m in the process of trying to buy back all the games I used to have, and only need a couple more. As a side note, I’m extremely happy with my system as it’s literally mint.. I waited for about a year until I found one that was like the one I used to have (not all scratched up or missing parts or with a broken stand).

ANYwho, I have a couple sealed copies of games that I don’t want to open, and since I wanted to try out homebrew games, I am purchasing a Flashboy from someone I know.

Here’s the question. While I can find the files to homebrew games, I can’t find the files to the retail releases. I know they exist, but when I got to the released game section, there are no roms to be found. Silly question I know, but I just can’t figure it all out.

I can’t wait to become a contributing member to this site and I can’t wait to see what other homebrew titles come out for the best portable ever created :).

Hello and welcome to PVB! πŸ™‚

For ROMs, you could go to romulation.net.

Hello. Its nice to see someone new around here. Welcome to the coolest niche group on the internet.

Thanks a lot guys. Yea, I figure there isn’t much activity here.. but I hope it’s enough for homebrew to keep chugging along. I’m very excited by what I’m seeing here.

Btw, I’m a graphic designer, and if any homebrew devs need someone to do some graphics I’d love to help out.

Here are some pics of my brand new console. No, that’s not me holding it.. i’d never hold it like that >_>. But it’s so nice, there’s not even any scratches on the red “eyes” πŸ˜€

Here you go!:

Great job tracking down a Flash Boy!

I don’t have one and have to force myself to open up my sealed games. πŸ™

Even if I did, I don’t think the loader runs on macs, anyways.

Mmmmm… I love the smell of fresh VB visors πŸ™‚ .

It doesn’t, but that’s why I have boot camp πŸ˜‰

Hi. Yeah, very nice. Mine was like that once!

pretty low serial number, must’ve been one of the very first retail units.

I never noticed that.

Just curious, but on the N64 DD fan site, they have a list of serial numbers for everyone’s unit, and everyone they have found online. Could we do something like that here? (I’m assuming one hasn’t been made).

So by judging from this number, this was one of the first 70,000 out of 800,000?

Theres a thread thats fulll of them.

So that’s what the back of the box looks like… shame on you KR155E for not scanning it in πŸ™‚
