@ KR155E – Whats a Jap VB Demo? And, does that Link Cable of yours actually work? And on what games?

The japanese “Demo” VB is also known as “Mosaic Box VB”, it’s the first batch of japanese Virtual Boys sent to stores with the Nintendo Store Displays, very rare. The main difference to normal japanese VBs is the box, which has a pixellated grey VB instead of a red one on it. I don’t know yet if the link cable works, I’m waiting for 2 Tron VB carts from DogP so I can test it. DogP’s Tron VB and Tic Tac Toe are the only games using the link cable at the moment (For info look under Games>Selfmade).

I’m a collector, but mostly I like this thing because it’s fun to play, and I always bring it camping because somebody who has never played a VB winds up getting hooked on it & sitting there with their head in the Red Vision for the entire camping trip while everyone else plays tricks on them. I picked up my VB at a Garage Sale for $10 and the box was beat up, it’s now gone, the lenses are cracked, but you can’t notice it when playing and the visor is worn, but hell the thing plays good, and I have it because it’s fun, I am not under any illusions that it will ever be worth anything… Games I have are:
