Man, Game & Watches are fun. I already have 3, and I am planning to get lots more. Too bade they are somewhat pricey. Gunpei Yokoi did make these too, before the Virtual Boy. 😉

I have

Donkey Kong Multiscreen
Donkey Kong Jr. Widescreen
Donkey Kong II Multiscreen(for Christmas)

and bidding on Zelda Multiscreen

Do you guys collect or own any of these great little handhelds?

I have the Super Mario Bros. one, which looks like the one in the attached image.

I still have my original Parachute (not got a pic) but I’m bit gutted as a couple of months ago it fell off the shelf i had it on and happened to land on its corner on the metal track for my sliding doors, and its now got a chunk missing, I’ve had it since 1981 and even though me and my bro both played the crap out of it it stayed good, until a couple of months ago, ah well I guess thats what ebay is for…..
But yes they are fun little games, I think I also have a mini Zelda one somewhere, one of the repro type ones they did a while back, but smaller.

i can’t say that i collect them, but i have purchased a few that interested me. i own the zelda one you are bidding on. i picked it up near mint, without a box. looks like it was never played. i also have the mario one mentioned a few posts up. i highly recommend that super mario game and watch, its a true platformer and extremely fun to play.

i still want to buy octopus one day and maybe one of the color versions they released.

My small collection…

Mario Bros – Multiscreen
Donkey Kong – Multiscreen
Super Mario Bros – Mini Classic

I love Game & Watch! But they got too expensive for me – I managed to pick up Zelda and Donkey Kong brand New back in the day, plus Octopus last year which cost me a lot more – I said to myself I’d leave it there.

I do have Mario Bros, another Zelda used to play and a Donkey Kong Jr someone gave to me though.

Good lord please help me..i can’t start another collection…i can’t….

i do this as i have a page open to ebay…..

Resist the temptation Eric! 🙂

The only one I have is the Club Nintendo reprint of Game & Watch Ball. Its a pretty cool part of Nintendo’s history but its too simplistic for me to really get into.

Ohh yeah I forgot I have that one too. I think I bought two copies actually, as I wanted to keep one out to play.

They are very simple machines, but I remember having them as a child and wanted a few key pieces for my collection when I started earning money. I particularly like the Oil Panic and Greenhouse versions.

I love Game & Watches. Nintendo’s handhelds were heads and tails better than everyone elses at the time. The ones I have are:
-Donkey Kong II w/ box
-Mario’s Cement Factory
-Turtle Bridge
-Mario Bros.
-Fire Attack

do a little research and pick up a few that are worth playing. i think you’ll find this more rewarding.

you can play a few “simulated” G&W here: http://www.pica-pic.com/

I have:

Mario Bros
Donkey Kong II
Oil Panic

That last one I got recently on eBay. It’s in very good condition.

I’ve also got several ’80s handhelds by Grandstand, Bandai etc.

If you have a Nintendo DS, grab a copy of Game & Watch Collection. You can play the original and graphically enhanced games.
