Hi all!

I’m the lucky/proud owner of a Virtual Boy, and I’ve recently purchased a HyperBoy+ flash cart. I’m wondering: is there any technique or homebrew app which could allow me to display a simple 2D logo on the screen(s) of the Virtual Boy? I’m no coder so I’m hoping that someone can point me to an existing tool or app which could help make this happen.

Thanks for any tips or ideas you can offer!

Hi,

VUEngine Studio is the way to go at the moment:

VUEngine Studio Preview 6 is out

There is also a tutorial, which is also for non-coder easy to follow:

If you manage to do the first steps you should easily be able to let your desired 2d logo to be shown.

You can go on a deep dive into this project which specifically centers on creating stereoscopic images for viewing on the Virtual Boy.

I’m not sure there’s any quick and easy way to just load up an image.
