What to do with a VB without Stand?

I got the Idea to build some kind of Arcade-Cabinet for the VB, that looks like the Periskope of a submarine.
One of Ataris Early Arcade Machines was a submarine Game with a periscope.

You need some kind of cabinet with a kind of periscope that is adjustable and fixable in the height.
The controller had to be mounted under the VB and the art of the cab could be made in a submarine-like style.

OK, you have to destroy or modificate the VB, but I think it could be intersting.
