Reason for the downtime: I updated the Xoops core to the latest stable release, but ran into too many problems so I had to delete everything and go back to my unchanged backup. Looks like I’ll have to rebuild the site on a newer release instead of updating, but I’ll definitely set up a local test environment next time.

Huh? But I did not change anything. Auto login is not even activated. o_O

I even have auto-login after a reboot 😛

Do you mean that you automatically see the “Thank you for logging in” screen when coming back to the site or are you just still logged in?

I was just still logged in. Had to log in again though just now.
