I will try to find time to play my Virtual Boy that day (I didn’t have a VB last year when it was Yokoi’s birthday, so this is wonderful!)

He would have turned 69 years old

May He Rest In Peace knowing there is a whole awesome site full of VB enthusiasts that love and still play his most misunderstood invention, the Virtual Boy of course! 😉

May he RIP, I wish he could see the community still devoted to unlock the full potential of his creation!

I’m sorry to say his birthday was actually on September 10th… its good you played your VB and Gameboy in memory of him though 😀
