Original Post

I finally have a moment to post now that I’m here in the Seattle area. My husband, a friend, and I drove with our dog, and 2 cats across the country to get here. We got stuck in 2 terrifying snow storms but made it in one piece around the 1st of March. Last week I finally got my furniture and stuff from the movers. This week I still need to put together the game room but I’m making due with what I have while I work on my next video as well. Here’s some pictures I took in the new house with the Virtual Girl and collection. It all came with me in the van. I didn’t want the movers to have it lol

Welcome to the PNW!! 😀
Glad you and the collection had a safe travel!

(Hope you like rain!)

Thanks for the welcome to the west 😊 Luckily I don’t mind the rain too much. I’m a hermit anyway lol

Always nice to move to a new place – hope you can also make use of the logo I found here (I didn’t make this)

West coast is the best coast =P

But yeah, welcome to our side of the continent.

Another West Coaster here, literally (Oregon). The beach is about 60 miles from me.

OMG I LOVE THAT! I may have just the use for it once I furnish the game room

W00t! I fully intend on bringing my ass over to Canada now. It’s too close to ignore now. 😁

Nice! Being so close to the beach is a huge plus. I wanna make it down to the Portland Retro Gaming Expo when it comes around. I may even do the Cowlitz one in WA coming up.

Yeah, there ya go. I believe there’s even a ferry that will take you from Seattle to Victoria. It’s the south tip of the island, but hey, it’s direct to the island anyway.

I had a vacation in the Seattle area. It was 1994. We took the ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria. I think we ate at a restaurant called The Brickhouse while we stayed in Seattle for the night. I used to have a shirt from there. Is it still around?

Funny you mention that. I want to visit the toy museum over in Victoria and was planning on ways to get there lol.

I just did a quick search and it looks like there’s still a few locations open around here. Were they any good? I’m looking for good places to eat and visit.
