No, it’s not publicly available. It doesn’t fit on a Flashboy anyway.

It’s partially to avoid copyright issues as it is an unofficial port of a Capcom game (If I recall correctly). Distributing it would bring a bunch of problems for those involved and it would wind up like every other fan game, with a C&D, etc.

I also think it’s the choice of the devs and people involved in the project since it’s something they all poured money and time into making. They made a demo available for people wanting to give it a go.

Also I think it’s to help stop the more sketchy VB cartridge makers in making their own and trying to capitalize the VB market. There’s a few out there selling games made by homebrewers here and they’re not even asking the makers or giving credit where its due.

Someone who is able to build and flash his own cart will most likely also be able to dump existing ones. The insane HF prices on ebay are actually a result of it’s rarity as there is no other way to play it. I’m pretty sure the prices would drop if the ROM was released.

There are so many people having the rom I’m surprised it has not been leaked yet.

Ahh yes that makes sense.

I’m surprised it hasn’t leaked either! I mean I can see why, it was definitely frowned upon when discussing its release. I know I wouldn’t want to be “that guy”

i’m not surprised myself, this is a very mature community.

There are reasons to release it and reason not to. I’m just going to leave it up to the developers to decide what to do. It’s only respectful, they put all of the work into it.

Agreed. We all tend to be very respectful of one another and wishes of those developing the games. One of the reasons I love this community so much.
