I thought I should ask before I do anything not needed, although as I have just fixed my spare I was planning to solder this one as well anyway.

This double mirrored image appeared on the right view when testing, occasionally fades and then comes back again almost as strong as the correct image.

Is this also a flex cable problem or do I have something else as well?

Yup, same problem! You did a nice job on the soldering btw! Too bad I cannot obtain cheap flux here, that really makes a difference…

I used plain flux core leaded solder. There are a few unused pins to practice on, if you can’t get those right just stop there. 😉

I was worried it could be something with the mirror but then I know it’s the same procedure as last time.

Yeah, it’s likely something wrong with the select pin, causing the display not to turn off while the other eye is drawing.
