Just picked up a Virtual Boy in great condition at a yard sale! Only thing I need is a battery pack or AC adapter. I am hoping someone here has an extra one for sale. If you do, please let me know how much. Thanks!

I must be going to the wrong lawn sales! Was it just the console and controller? I’ve never seen ANY VB product in the wild except for overpriced games at local stores 🙂

An AC adapter would be best, I’ve never bothered with battery packs but I think they die after 4-6 hours of play. If nobody here has one, you can sometimes get one for $15-20 on eBay. Keep in mind the AC adapter is actually an SNES adapter and the VB specific attachment.

i have a japanese tap new in the box that i want to sell. i don’t have the matching ac adapter tho. i think it uses the master system adapter?

It uses a Super nintendo adapter.. so if you have one of those.. the Tap will do. Good luck!

the japanese tap uses a smaller hole for the plug and i am fairly certain it can not use the SNES adapter. I think it uses the NES/Famicom, and I recall someone saying the Sega Master System adapter will also work.

The UK mega drive mk1 psu fits nicely in the jap tap.
