Hi, I am just working on a restoration project for my US store display unit that looks similar to this one here:
http://www.projectvb.com/disp_medium_us.html

Mine is missing the 3 small black stickers directly under the Virtual Boy unit, the one in the middle is saying “hold here”. So I would like to ask if someone knows a place where I can find scans or high quality photos of those stickers so that I can try to print repro stickers on HP Inkjet photo paper?
Maybe someone of you owns a complete demo unit with those stickers and please could provide me with high-res photos of the stickers?
Thanks in advance!

I might be able to help Roli. There’s a store near me that has that display unit and I have a DSLR so I can always try to get good pictures if you can’t find a scan. I imagine a scan would be better for you. I can see if I can convince my husband to take a trip to the store with me today or tomorrow.

Didn’t take much to convince my husband to go. We’re on our way over to the store now (we needed a few things anyway)

Great thanks. I guess it will not be likely that someone put the units on a scanner to scan the stickers, so a nice sharp photo directly 90 degrees over each of the 3 stickers without a light reflection would be perfect if that would be possible to do. 😉

I went to the store yesterday but they’re missing that middle sticker and the others are badly damaged. Sorry about that. I can see what I can do with the picture that I have

Thanks a lot for your effort!

Still need a pic ? let me know 🙂

Yes please, any high resolution photo would help. 😉

Attached is a zip of close-up pics of the stickers from one of my store displays… let me know if you need any dimensions.

Thanks to all of you who provided me photos! I don´t want to bother you with dimensions, I just will play around until it looks like on the photos.
Maybe I will even experiment with vector conversion, so we will see.
😉
Thanks again!
