So I’ve been wondering how rare is the mario tennis box and is it truly worth what people are paying for it?

It’s not very rare. They show up from time to time. It’s worth it if you want a complete “complete in box” set. If not, save yourself a lot of money and just get carts. I’m glad I bought all my cib games in 07-08. Most I paid for any of them was $90 for jack bros.

oh ok i was just wondering because i saw one on ebay the other day sell for 120 and some change, i mean it would be nice to have a complete complete box collection but at the same time i don’t think i could ever justify spending that much on a box and I’m the same guy who spent 130 on a variant of sonic adventure for the dreamcast

Which variant of Sonic Adventure was worth that much?

The limited edition one that was a Hollywood video exclusive

Oh cool, didn’t know about that one. Thanks!

Funny enough, I traded it for my very first VB boxed with a couple games 🙂

Nice! Sounds like a good trade =D

How the hell did Sonic Adventure Limited Edition get released a whole month before the DC’s US launch anyway?

I’m not one for cardboard boxes, so I don’t have much contribution here. JPN V-Tetris and Vertical Force were $5 each and CIB, so I got those instead of paying more for loose carts.

I’ve seen them go for less than $80 before…mostly a patience thing if you can wait until a reasonable BIN shows up. I lucked out and got mine in a big box lot. Luckily the JP Mario’s Tennis has a pretty nice box, so I just bought that until the US one came within reach.
