Here are a few pictures of my VB mounted on a boom stand.

The stand is for microphones. Being a musician, I have several, and it occured to me that the stands would be ideal for the VB.

To attach the VB to the stand, I decided on using a thread adaptor (the silver part).

I got a spare VB stand bracket from eBay, took it to the engineering shop near me, and got them to drill a hole in the middle. The hole is used to fit the thread adaptor, which is secured from the other side with a nyloc nut.

The thread adaptor is fitted to the mic stand, and the VB attached to the modified bracket.

Using the VB this way is so comfortable! I can adjust it in every direction I wish for.

While not entirely original (yes, I realize that’s a cymbal stand, but it’s basically the same thing), it’s still a great idea and a nice, clean implementation. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks RunnerPack! I knew it wasn’t a new thing to mount the VB on a stand, but I looked at what had been done previously and decided I could do it in a more simplistic and effective way.

For the sharp-eyed of you out there: the photos depict in the backgrounds two 3D stereoscopic games/toys from the past (excluding the VB). Can anyone identify them?

I spy an Image 3D / View Master (the littlew red binoculars looking thing), I have one also 😀

Can I ask what is on the blank SNES/SFC-looking cartridge by the stack of VB games?

In the second photo, there’s a “Tomytronic 3D” LCD game hanging from the door (is it a “Sky Attack”? I used to have a “Planet Zeon”)

The other thing must be too out-of-focus or obscure for me…

L___E___T : It’s an old Stunt Race FX cart for the SNES. I’m going to put the unreleased game Starfox 2 on it (once I get a new soldering iron – my one has had it).

RunnerPack: It is indeed SkyAttack! In the Tomytronic 3D range, I also have Thundering Turbo, but I think Sky Attack is the best game in the series, although I haven’t played them all.

Y drill the oem stand lol just make an adapter and use the 2 screw holes so u can put it back to oem if u want i like to make all my stuff and mods so there plug in play or able go back to oem if thay like
