I had my VB proudly exhibited in a well lighted stand. The stand was a bit TOO lighted. It was a halogen bulb, pretty near the top of the VB. Eventually, the heat of the halogen bulb had it’s toll on the top IPD button, partially melting it. The rest of the VB casing is still beautiful!

I’m looking for someone who could help me finding back an IPD button to bring back my precious VB back to it’s beautiful shape!

Only thing I can think of is buying a “for parts” VB. I think they can go for ~$60-$80 sometimes on ebay? That would be just the head only – usually no visor or stand.

Yes I did. Had found someone but he eventually stopped answering my emails. Contacted him lately to learnt that he moved to new country and lost his parts 🙁
However, I may have found someone willing to help!

Well, I would greatly prefer avoiding to buy a complete head unit only for the top button. I’ll end up with a whole lot of spare parts and I’m mentally unable to throw away any video game related stuff.
