Hello everybody,

I am OoZic and I am from the Netherlands. I am a collector of home-computers/consoles/LCD-VFD handhelds/tabletops. Mainly from the ’70’s/’80’s and early 90’s, the time period that electronic gaming wasn’t the mass product as it is now. I do have all latest handhelds like PSP/Vita/DS/Dingoo etc. but as they are not as much fun as their early companions, they don’t have my interest that much. More to show how they evolved into what it is now.

Before yesterday my biggest collection was my beloved Nintendo Game and Watch collection, only missing 5 from the 60 models (have an eye on number 56 already…). Now I think the VB collection I bought from mawa is the biggest complete collection I own πŸ™‚

If someone thinks he saw my name before, I am a VIP member on the PS3Hax forums and do a lot of posting over there. I promised the PS3Hax forum members a list of my collection a long time ago and will post it also here. Started with the letter A today to write them on paper so the beginning of the list is made πŸ™‚

So far my introduction, hope to meet new (nice ;)) people over here and learn more about the VB and other electronic games than I already know πŸ™‚

Special greets to @mawa,

OoZic

Congratulations on the new collection and welcome to the forums! Hopefully you find a lot of good information and fun times here.

And, more importantly, hopefully you find some prototypes we haven’t seen yet, hahahaha. πŸ™‚

Welcome!

Welcome. As you can tell it’s a small active membership here, but of course quality is always better then quantity.

If you need anything just ask.

To show you what kind of person/collector I am I have added a picture of my G&W collection. As soon as I find a showcase for the VB collection that fits to the G&W showcase I will post a picture of that to….

i see the rarest of the rare in that photo. do all of your game and watches work? i also love old LCD handhelds.

That’s a nice collection also πŸ™‚

I only miss one Panorama screen (Mickey Mouse), 2 crystal sceens (Balloon Fight and Super Mario Bros) and one silver screen (Flagman) πŸ™‚
Most expensive one I have will be the Super Mario Bros in the yellow Disk kun box (at the left of the double sceens in my picture).

Started making a list of my LCD handhelds on handheld empire (http://www.handheldempire.com/member/user.jsp?user=587) because they have a nice system to build a database without the need of many typing. Note: I have to add some more brands like Tiger to it, list is only 60% complete I think πŸ™‚
