Not a game yet… The demo is a mean to test the engine I’m developing, I hope to have a first demo level by the end of the competition.
I’m really more interested in designing and developing the tools and architecture rather than the game itself, and I’m a programmer not a game designer, so I don’t really want to put effort and time in a game and come later with bad level design; hope other people engage in the project and use the engine to do that stuff.
And is the Mario sprite you used from Mario Clash?
Anyway, I finally decided what I’m going to work on for the next two months… A Yoshi’s Cookie port. I’ve already begun to work on the code, and I hope to get some beta cookie sprites done today. It shouldn’t be that hard, so if I focus, I might be able to turn out a playable beta in 2 months. I’ll keep you posted with screenshots!
