I just ran across this…it’s a pretty rare/underground mid 90s Japanese game magazine (NSFW!) called Game Urara.

Vol 4 – Pg 56-61 has an article on VB and a Gunpei Yokoi interview!

I have no idea what it says or if there’s any new information. Anyone here read Japanese? 🙂

The fine folks at the Internet Archive bought all the issues of the magazine and have scanned it in:

I can’t read Japanese without translation software assistance, but one of the photos in the article caught my interest, so I translated its caption. The caption reads:

A Holmes-type stereo photo viewer made over 100 years ago.
There’s a good reason why they have a similar shape.
