Hello everybody! Happy VB day!

As I’m sure everybody knows, it’s the release of VB Nintendo Classics on NSO today, so I thought I’d finish up work one of the VB related projects I’ve been putting off for the better half of a year :P.

I’d wanted to put these out there for the 30th anniversary last year, but just never got around to putting on the finishing touches — anyway, hope these are at least fun to take a glance at lol. I’ve also included versions in the different colours we’ve seen for NSO so far, since I knew it wouldn’t take long to do, but the plain black and white are the ones I think look best. They’re based on the docking bay area from the first level. I’ve attached an example for reference (I decided against including any cannons as seen in the screenshot, for the sake of visual clarity & simplicity).

Btw… VBNSO may have launched hours earlier here in Australia than other countries, but it sure didn’t feel that way because of this sticker! Also, perhaps to the surprise of not a single person, the NSO VB fits the Japanese Display stand just fine. Now we just need an NSO controller to go with it… and I’ll need to upgrade to the expansion pack…

Have fun, everyone!

You have a Japanese display stand?! Nice.
If you are missing the controller holder (like it was the case for mine), you can look at this:

Small Japanese Nintendo Display stand

A friend of mine redesigned it in a CAD program.
So if you have access to a tooling shop you can let it rebuilt.

Good eyes. Yes, unfortunately my stand didn’t come with the controller bracket, or any of the paperwork when I got it probably about 8 years ago. Thanks, I’ll have to look into resolving that 🙂.
(I wonder how people manage to misplace the brackets in the first place. I guess possibly they thought it looked better without, and the bracket just got lost over time?)
