first off.. a dumb question. how do you use the save state/load state??? nothing i try works.. i don’t get it?

and why doesn’t wario land have any sound! i know it’s just a bad rom but still 🙁

If it’s a bad ROM, it’s not going to work properly, that’s why it’s labeled as bad.

I’ve never been able to get the save state to work on my computer either. If I hit the Escape button while playing a ROM on the Red Dragon emulator to bring up the menu and then go to Emulation and click on “Save State” and then select some spot on my computer to save the state to, no file saves at all. And if I exit the emulator and come back in and load up the ROM again, there is no way to do anything other than start over again at the very beginning of the game.

It does seem that others have gotten the save state to work on the emulator. That’s why I specified the problem exactly, so that someone else might be able to chime in and explain exactly what needs to be done differently during the process to get it to work properly or else what else needs to be done apart from all that I have tried to do.

what a great game.. way better than the old gameboy wario games. they really need to re-release that on the 3DS or whatever so the masses can appreciate it. definitely keep it red though, it adds charm.

i’ve also got another ‘to-do list’ in case you’re still granting wishes? haha.. i’m trying to play the 3 zelda games for the CD-I. i can get them to work (well 2 of the 3), but there’s no sound during game play. and no save states either.

any chance you can help me play them with sound and save states? 😛

nevermind i think i got it 🙂 after an all nighter of reading, and trial & error.. M.E.S.S. finally pulled through for me :thumbsup:
