I’m a little late on this but seems nobody else has brought this up so I might as well do it.

Hiroshi Yamauchi, who led Nintendo with an iron fist between 1949 and 2002 died recently at the age of 85. The man was known for his stern demeanor and being overall scary but he was also the man who recruited Gunpei Yokoi and who gave a certain Shigeru Miyamoto a chance.
