I have a Virtual Boy with the AC Adapter set, battery pack, and 4 games. The games are Mario Tennis, Red Alarm, Teleroboxer, and Vertical Force. The only thing I’m missing is the stand. How much should I sell it for? I need the price in US dollars. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!

Many excuse thanks, is but this a Sega Gameboy Advance SP and the mario game? It has not a stand because you hold hands in it.

Hopes is help! ^_^

If I were selling those items, here is what I would consider to be “fair” prices:

Mario’s Tennis (loose) = about $5.00
Red Alarm (loose) = about $15.00
Teleroboxer (loose) = about $15.00
Vertical Force (loose) = about $20.00

Actually, I would sell each for less than those amounts, but that’s me.

As for the system with adapter but missing the stand, I would sell it for no more than $80.00.

Thus, the total package would be about $135.00.

That would actually be somewhat less than what I paid for my first Virtual Boy and games, though, so you could probably get a little more than that for those items.

mario tennis sells for .99 to 3.00 on ebay, not including shipping. those that ask more usually end up not selling it. i just picked up 6 donor cars for .99 – 1.99 each, all through auction which kind of proves people aren’t really willing to pay more for that game right now.

i usually see red alarm sell for around $5. teleroboxer and vertical force for around $8-12. you can usually find teleroboxer without the box for $5 (again not including shipping). i also recently picked up an unboxed copy of the US release of vertical force for 2.99.

if the games have boxes, dust caps, etc, then you can probably get $10-15 for mario tennis and $15-25 for the other two games.

the stand is an important part of the virtual boy. if this unit does not have any eye glitch issues then i would say that it would go for around $50-$80.

i’m by no means a virtual boy selling expert, but i have been checking ebay almost daily for cool vb stuff since buying mine just about a year ago. you will always see prices that are much higher than what i’ve typed, but more often than not those items do not sell and are relisted. that isn’t to say that the suggested $135 is a bad price, it all depends on who wants it and how honestly you advertise it.

Thanks everyone! I only got it for $10. I didn’t realize it was worth that much. How much would it be worth with a stand? Where would I find an original stand?

i’ve seen the stands sell between $25-50 on eBay. you could probably grab one for cheaper if you waited for just the right listing.

You definitely got your system and games for dirt cheap. Since you did, I would strongly recommend buying a stand for it from a seller on Ebay before attempting to sell the whole package. A new buyer would have to buy the stand separately anyway, but it makes the whole package more presentable and easier to sell if a buyer isn’t required to do that.

I would strongly think that with the stand, you could sell the whole package for at least $135.00 fairly quickly. If not, then just slowly and gradually lower the price over time – no harm in that.
