Are they still out there and Are you one of the Lucky lucky people who has one?

Even when I wasn’t collecting VB anymore (2004-2013) I always had my eyes out for one of these puppies. And Believe it or not I always wanted it as a garment FIRST and a VB collectable SECOND; that’s why in 2009 I had to pass up an XL that sold for around $80 because I’m a LARGE. Then I failed in 2010 to get an ACTUAL Large that sold for over $100 (I had quit a Job at that point so It was best not to spend over that on a t-shirt).

But, has anyone seen any recently? And does anyone else actually think its super cool aesthetically? or do you think its totally uggs?

That shirt is AWESOME id wear it w pride.;)

I think Ben might actually have that shirt πŸ™‚

I sure do, and I think it is super cool from every perspective that one might look at it.

The only way I would consider giving this one up is if I happened to get one with more vibrant colors.

If someone wanted one to WEAR, it occurs to me it would be very easy to duplicate. They make an “iron-transfer-film” that can be copied on, or even printed on; that would easily accommodate the front logo and back images. A can of spray color for the black (even basic cheap spray PAINT will yield a very acceptable effect), and craft stores like Hobby Lobby sells paint pens that can replicate the line figures. Some of those paints are luminescent (glow-in-the-dark).

But imagine using THIS to form the line-drawings:

Some provision would have to be made for removing the EL wire for washing (velcro would lend itself well to the project); but I for one would love to see a shirt lighting up in say, a movie theater, or other dark place…

The front isn’t bad, but the back is a little much. If you wanted a similar aesthetic, maybe you could find a company on Aliexpress that would sew up some red/blue t-shirts. Then you’d just have to use vb-fan’s paint idea, or have some made at a screen-printing place.

I would personally like to see one with the background designs, but no logos at all. It would be like a secret sign between VB fans πŸ˜€

Keith Apicary (Nathan) DID use that stuff for his VB shirt. Hey… Is he on this site? I haven’t seen him since I lived in LA.

He is but he only shows up once or twice a year. Usually because he announces something or tells us that he bought something cool.

The Suit is pretty Cool in person. I dig it.

Have you ever found anything on that site that didn’t require purchasing of 10,000-20,000?

If a red/blue shirt can’t be found, just get two shirts and combine; sewing machines are easy to use once you get them loaded.

Have you watched the Virtual Boy music video that Nathan made? It has many sections showing the shirt that ectoglow was talking about:
