Her is a NBC Blockbuster Nintendo Virtual Boy Launch promotion flyer for sale in very good condition.

I think price is to high but what are you people thinking about this price?

There’s no way I’m paying $50 for a flyer…

Well… if you’re the only person in the world offering something for sale, you can pretty much ask whatever you want for it.

here a nice jap jack bros store flyer start on 1000 yen

Talking about overpriced, here’s the obligatory $500 Jack Bros:

I would actually expect a $500 price tag on a mint, factory sealed, U.S. version of Jack Bros., since it would be all the more rare.

The problem is, this seller is trying to sell his copy at the factory sealed price, without it actually being factory sealed. I’d be surprised if even a very serious collector purchases this copy at this price.

somebody intrested in a virtual bowling CIB
now on ebay for 1111 $ starting bid

Ah yes… that’s the one that was originally available for $1,500.00. Looks like the seller finally decided to drop the price. I have a feeling that this one will sell now.

here a nice virtual bowling for just 80.000 yen this a great price

Alright, who did it? I believe that it was hoped that nobody would try to do this:

Not me! My Ebay handle is lmel1518. Plus I don’t own a Flashboy, and would never sell it if I did!

it also not mee i dont want to miss it in my collection 😉
still looking for the first edition flashboy boxed

but cant you see it your self who is doining it?
did you make 1 and send it to Cincinnati, OH, United States
iff you have done that then you know who is doining this

Well, Richard is the one who makes them. His screen name on this site is MineStorm.

I suppose that if he’s okay with this, then it is okay, but I remember him saying that if he saw anyone trying to sell Bound High on Ebay then he would discontinue making them. We wouldn’t want the same thing to happen to the Flash Boys!

At least the Ebay seller lets the potential buyers know that he originally purchased it on Planet Virtual Boy. If the potential buyers were smart, they would first look into how much they could get it for from Richard and Chris before throwing large sums on the Ebay auction, but I have a feeling that people are more comfortable with using Ebay then they are with a site unknown to them. Thus, Virtual Boy fans who aren’t familiar with this site would probably take the Ebay route and pay needlessly high sums just because Ebay is something that they’re familiar with.

Unfortunately, Planet Virtual Boy members could take advantage of this and make good money off of Richard’s work, which just doesn’t seem right to me. Hopefully, the seller isn’t trying to do this and just happened to come across an unexpected, tough financial situation, but that would be hard to tell.

Nintendo Virtual Boy (Japanese) in Rare Promo Box

US $1,499.99 — buy-it-now

@VJ: there are still well over 400 items on US eBay, currently only 80 of which are auctions. Perhaps you were just targeted? Did they provide more information, a reason, or an explanation yet?

Perhaps I was targeted, I noticed new VB listings as well. However, all the things ebay told me about not being able to list VB games with the word “Virtual” in the title is 100% truthfully what eBay told me. I was on the phone with ebay for quite a few hours trying to explain Virtual Boy to them, and there was no resolve. One thing’s for certain, they told me that they’d strike me with policy violations if I relisted my Virtual Boy games. 🙁

100% positive feedback and all 5 star DSR ratings, this is how they treat loyal sellers that have been with them for nearly a decade. If Virtual Boy games continue being listed that’s fantastic, however I feel that eBay needs to man up and clear up this new negative situation once and for all.

I don’t think this thread should be closed, as there are still Yahoo! Japan auctions…

this whas a action off a originaal virtual boy cab

it have end now and i’m the new owner 😉

http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w65341229

here is a translation off the item text ( hope its correct becouse my japans is not to good lol ):

It is the cap of the Nintendo Co. game machine “virtual boy” which is sold in 1995. On the front the virtual boy, in the back the Nintendo Co. logograph is embroidered in the deficit. The game machine of the 3D image which the dying/fleeing coming Yokoi troop flat person devises anticipated age too much, sale was not considerable and disappeared. . . Color: Black. It is the unused item, but the rust has appeared in the rear adjuster metallic parts. Cotton 100 percent.
