Mawa dat is erg aardig, dank u mijn vriend.

Actually, I see two separate listings on ebay for each of those titles. I’m guessing there are more Hyper Fighting carts out there than we’ve been lead to believe.

I don’t see the harm in posting this. The secrecy behind this game is going to upset retro historians in 30 years. I have it from a good source that right around 75 of these were produced. No more will be made by its original team.

I’m surprised this wasn’t flagged by ebay immediately haha…you don’t have to bowl three strikes to see ‘XXX’ 🙂

New to virtual boy collecting, but this post was intriguing. None of these had a U.S release as far as I know, so I am curious where the person got them.

Those are all fan made reproductions.

He’s not very specific in his auction which bothers me a bit.

Heres what they are:

Bound High: Reproduction of an unreleased game
Space Pinball: Reproduction of an unreleased prototype
Faceball VB Prototype Edition: Reproduction of an unreleased prototype
Faceball Remastered: Rom-Hack
Space Squash: Fan translation
SD Gundam Dimension War: Fan translation
Blox: Hombrew game
Fishbone: Hombrew game

They sold for ~$80 each. So the price for all would have been ~$640.
As the are not sold anymore, their price increased a bit for some. I wouldn’t go higher then $1000 for the lot.

Thanks for the information! It looks like they already sold.

Holy crap, that didn’t take long

I was shocked too. I am not sure if it was sold at that price or if he accepted a best offer. Either way, that was very quick!

Does anyone still make fan translations or have they all stopped since they are showing up on ebay?

I don’t know about anyone else, but I don’t make them anymore.

Does this also preclude novel homebrew games? Understandable if so; people should be in it for the hobby, not its resale value.

At those prices, I might start thinking about selling a set 😛

Looks like someone’s making new ones — I’m okay with that; those things always seem to be missing.

It appears hyperkin is the company making these
