Holy shit! They are insane asking that much. Insecticide is a homebrew title. Uncle Tusk just recently released a batch of them too.

That seller always lists with ridiculous prices.

Yeah the Uncle Tusk batch is the only batch of these, this would be from that batch. Just somebody *really* stretching to try to capitalize on the VB completionist collector’s market. Since they likely got their copy through this site, there’s a good chance they’re reading this post. This message is for them:

I actually don’t think that this seller plans to sell any of the Virtual Boy items that he has listed on ebay. I think he just likes to use ebay to display his Virtual Boy collection. I’m pretty sure that some of the Virtual Boy items he currently has listed were first listed back when I first got interested in the Virtual Boy in 2011, and over time, their prices have actually gone up with relistings rather than down, just in case someone might actually be tempted to buy them.

Jeez, I get tired of relisting items after 2 or 3 times, haha.

Well, more importantly, where do I get one at a reasonable price?

Shooting a message asking to let you know if/when others might be available might be a start. I think that’s how I got mine :p
