I cant handle the 3d, anymore. It KILLS my eyes. They seriously hurt after like 2 minutes, could be my headache causing it… but still. Either way, I have a thing tape over the one eyepiece and I’m fine with that, I don’t like the 3d much anyways… same goes on 3ds

EDIT: Oven method worked (as title says).

Do you have the IPD set properly?

You should double check the alignment. Insert any game, and on the title screen input the following using the right D-Pad and buttons. LEFT, B, DOWN, A, UP. If the VB is aligned correctly then the vertical and horizontal lines will intersect.

I’ve read a few complaints about headaches which were all fixed by adjusting the displays so that the test aligned correctly.

Read about this on page 24 of the manual: http://www.planetvb.com/content/manuals/pdf/vboy_usa_im.pdf

Intersecting… My eyes still feel like death. If I rememe tomorrow I will try again without a headache

The trick is to set the VB when your vision is ‘at rest’. If you just stick the VB at any random setting and then try to focus on it you’ll end up sick. It’s not easy to explain but I’ve been able to play mine without any issues other than the expected blindness by bright lights once you’re finished. Ha.

And dry eyes from not blinking enough after playing SD Gundam for 5.5 hours straight. Not that I know from experience or anything. 😉

Some people just don’t have the (eye)balls for the ultimate Virtual Boy experience 😉

I can play it without the stand on it. It has to be a very specific way, with the stand, it’s impossible.

Thing is, I used to be able to. About a month and a half ago.

I could try messing with that. But my issue is that, that causes strain on the ribbon cables…
