kotaku posted that. i wrote back a comment. i still find the “eye strain” comments unfounded. as we have discussed here, those issues (and headaches) were probably attributed to misaligned mirrors or improperly tuned settings.

“Computer Consoles” Another video made by an idiot that didn’t know what the hell they were talking about. These lists are all the same, made by people that don’t know any system more obscure than ones they learned about by watching Gametrailers and AVGN.

If you’re going to bash a system, play it first, and know what you’re talking about. I really can’t stand the people who say Virtual Boy is Nintendos biggest failure and most obscure system. If/when AVGN and Gametrailers pick apart Hyperscan, 64DD, and Watara Supervision for arbitrary reasons. Those consoles will probably make it onto every list in the future.

Why is it called computer consoles rather than video game consoles?

Another idiot who thinks it’s cool to rip on Nintendo for a system that failed without actually ever trying the system.

Nothing to see here, just another stupid countdown video thrown together for other mind numb idiots to watch in between Call of Duty matches.

Let them hate, it’s all they have.

Virtual Boy is damned awesome, it has some genuinely fun games, the entire hardware package is delightfully weird and the 3D effect truly does work, better than even the 3DS I’d say.

It hurts to see the VB top the list yet sadly it happens a lot.

We know the truth, let’s them live in darkness…..xd..

Well, for me at least, I can get eyestrain from a calibrated VB if I’m already tired with sore eyes… Kind of a no brainer there. I can only really play VB if I’m well rested.

Sometimes in pitch black, in a VB game with a lot of black, I get that distortion you normally get from trying to see in the dark, heh. Feels weird.
