I have a VB store display model I am thinking about selling. I know they were rare but I don’t know what it is worth. Any guesses what I should get on ebay for it? Thanks.

It is the platform display model. And thanks for the quick reply πŸ™‚

A little more info. It has the original keys and they work. Plugged it in and game works great. Comes with tennis and galactic pinball. Both have packaging but the packaging in in so so condition. The VB is in great condition.

it’s worth $5, but I’ll gladly give you $10. πŸ˜›

Mmmmm….no, but thanks anyway. Does anyone have an idea of the real value? I want to put it up on ebay but have no idea what reserve I should set. It looks exactly like the low profile counter model in the picture from the link. I don’t think anything is missing and it works great. Played it last night πŸ™‚

Most of the units of this style that I’ve seen on ebay have been in the $500-850 range.

This is what my local Walmart had. Oh, memories… 😎

Gosh, it’s been awhile, but I thought I picked up mine for under 200..but it’s been awhile and I’m not sure. Mine was also missing one of the flyer’s on the side.

Yeah, I don’t think I’ve ever seen the plastic countertop one go for nearly that much. I would personally expect ~$150-$200, though they seem to vary quite a bit. I got mine for $50, and I can’t remember seeing one sell for more than $250.

IMO ebay has really lost auction traffic… it seems like everyone does BIN anymore, so it may be a good idea to put a BIN w/ Best Offer option. Otherwise it may go really cheap, or just get no bids if you start the price too high.

Thanks guys. Sounds like prices have probably varied much through the years. I’ll figure it out and get it out there. If I could get 250-300 for it I’d be a happy guy πŸ™‚

Item is for sale now in Marketplace.
